Cooper Bussman's bolted tag fuse is essentially a fuse that is fitted with tags. Predominantly, this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". What does HRC fuse type mean?

HRC (high rupture capacity) fuse type means that the circuit doesn’t break as soon as an overload occurs. The tags have enough thickness to make allowances for current fluctuations and maintain their hold until arcing becomes sustained. This helps to prevent unnecessary circuit interruptions.
