This crimping tool is designed to cut and strip unshielded flat / ribbon telephone cables and crimp RJ11 / 12 (6-pin) 9.65 mm and RJ45 (8-pin) 11.68 mm modular plugs with a parallel crimp. This crimper also automatically adjusts to the size of the ferrule to ensure precision work is done with every crimp. This feature saves the user the time of calculating the force when crimping, as the integrated lock in the crimping tool with release mechanism ensures that the correct amount of pressure automatically reaches the ferrule. These crimping pliers are equipped with multi-component handles, making them more comfortable and reducing fatigue.

Crimping pliers can be used in many applications: - Maintenance and repair - Electrical installations - Workshop / Crimping workshop
- To maintain proper operation and long service life, the shafts and other moving parts should be lubricated regularly. - Lubrication* is recommended at least every 10,000 cycles when the tool is exposed to dirt or other contaminants. - The setting of the crimping die ranges should also be checked - Adjustment of the pressure adjustment pin is necessary when the tool preload decreases significantly *Use a light non-mineral oil.
When a crimping tool is used on a terminal, two crimps take place at the same time. One is the electrical connection between the conductor and the terminal. The other is the crimping of the insulation, which relieves vibration and stress. It is important that the electrical connection is gas-tight with no voids between the wire strands and the lug. If voids exist, corrosion can occur, causing resistance and excessive heat that damages the electrical connection. The use of a good quality crimping tool will ensure a complete gas tight crimp, preventing future deterioration of the electrical connection and the breakdown of the insulation.
